A local removals team, rooted in Mitcham
We started Mitcham Removals to do moving and storing properly for the people around us — a local CR4 team who know the town, its history and its streets.
Mitcham has a longer story than most people realise — it was once the centre of England’s lavender and herb growing, its fields supplying London for generations, and it still has one of the oldest cricket greens in the world at its heart. We like being from a place with roots like that, and we try to bring the same “grown here, known here” feeling to every job.
Most of our work is close to home: a family leaving a terrace near Cricket Green, someone storing half a flat while they renovate, a student shifting a part-load across CR4, or a household bound for Spain. Because storage comes up so often here, we made it an equal part of what we do — self-storage, units and business storage, with the option to move and store in one booking.
When people move further, we go with them. The M25 is a short run from Mitcham, so moves to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal are a natural part of the work — the same team, the same care, just a longer road.
Through all of it we keep things local and honest: real people from CR4, a proper plan, and a straight answer whenever you ask. That’s the whole idea.
